In modern history, Tibet was an independent ethnic and language based nation in 1913, when non-Tibetan outside forces were expelled from Tibet. Tibet was independent until 1951,  when Chinese forces under Mao Zedong invaded and

overwhelmed Tibet’s small army, forcing Tibet’s political and religious leaders to flee to India.

In the years since, the Chinese Communist Government has moved Chinese populations into Tibet, and are now the majority of Tibet.

And now, the Chinese Army is occupying Indian land in India’s north.

So, China respects the territory of others?
