The volume of attacks has varied, of course, but terrorism continues and unless things change - both in how it is viewed and how it is fought, it will continue.

There are two ways to look at this: 2)

A. TREATMENT OF TERRORISM

1. To understand that Terrorists have no rights. Terrorism is excluded from any international treaties or national laws in terms of any civil rights or privileges. Terrorists can be made to just disappear and all would be legal.

They do not deserve trials, nor prisons.

2. Actually, there is an interesting precedent. The Shalit exchange. 1,027 Arab terrorist prisoners for one Jew. Perhaps that ratio should always apply to dealing with what clearly is an existential enemy.

3. The simple fact is that there are no “lone terrorists”. There is an infrastructure. People, families, friends, and leaders that support and encourage terrorism, and all responsible for each and every terrorist act from throwing stones at cars to shooting people.

They are “accessories before the fact” and are just as guilty as the person who throws the stone or pulls the trigger. If one really wants to stop terrorism, that infrastructure needs to be destroyed. 6)

B. AS WITH ANY TRUTH ABOUT HUMAN BEHAVIOR, THE TORAH DEALS WITH TERRORISM.

“REMEMBER AMALEQ”. Amaleq is the model of terrorism movements. A people who chose to attack us at our most vulnerable, at our weakest, to destroy his and take what was ours.
