2/ 1️⃣Cosmos 

The Injective blockchain was built on top of Cosmos SDK, which allows the creation of custom blockchains from scratch that are natively connected to other blockchains.

Cosmos is not a blockchain itself, but a network that represents the Internet of Blockchains.

3/ The network provides a platform where anyone can build a chain and run  fast communication with other chains built on Cosmos ecosystem, or other compatible networks, like Ethereum and Solana. 

The Cosmos Hub is the center of the network, connecting everything through IBC.

Since Injective is a layer 1 blockchain, it has its own consensus mechanism, so validators stake $INJ to secure the network and get governance power. 

One of the major differences of $INJ and other L1s is that they have a fully decentralized on-chain order book!

6/ This means that applications built on the Injective chain have access to  public on-chain order books, with an incentive mechanism to dApps who source their trading activity to the blockchain: 

40% of the fees generated by the trade they’ve sourced the information from.

7/ 🏃Front-running free!

An important point in terms of trading experience is that the Injective blockchain is MEV* resistant, and it does that through its Frequent Batch Auction (FBA) model, which fills trading orders according to priority, eliminating front-running.

8/ 💰Deep liquidity

Injective supports cross-chain transactions with Ethereum and all IBC chains, tokens launched on Injective can be exposed to multiple networks by default.

All protocols share the same liquidity, decreasing the need for large capital injections.

9/🪙Tokenomics

As stated before, 40% of the fees from a sourced trade go to the one that generated the trade.

The other 60% go towards buyback and burn events that happens weekly, reducing circulating supply and essentially deflating the token.

10/  The initial supply of INJ was anchored at 100,000,000 tokens, but it is subject to change over time due to block rewards and burn incentives.
