I have a retainer in my teeth that captures plaque. Because of this every dentist told me I need to get a cleaning every 6 weeks.

After taping my mouth I found a massive reduction in plaque build up.

First time hygienist said I didn't need a cleaning.

  1. How do I tape my mouth?

I first used a cheap 3M non-allergenic tape from amazon. I taped the top & bottom of my mouth shut before I slept (pic in 1st tweet).

I've tried Somnifix & now use Hostage Tape.

All worked fine. I like Hostage Tape because the material is stretchier.

I'm going to continue to tape my mouth to go sleep because it's been a massive game changer for my sleep & oral health.

Being able to sleep through the night is a blessing.

I'm experiencing too many benefits for me to stop doing it now.

There are limited studies around mouth taping.

Also, people who have sinus issues, severe cases of sleep apnea or are morbidly obese should probably not try this.

This worked for me. I'm not saying it'll work for you.
