4. Take notes!

When you write things down you remember them better (I have 100’s of pages of notes).

By taking notes on everything you read… you can come back later to refresh your memory.

Type it up, write it out, take pictures, whatever you prefer just do it!

5. Landing Page Builders

I’ll be honest… It really doesn’t matter.

I’ve used at least 15 by this point and there really isn’t one that is so much better than the others.

I would pick one and stick with it. The longer you spend on one… the better you’ll get with it.

I will say that I started with Carrd because it was cheap and really liked it.

Once my business started to grow I stepped it up to GoHighLevel because it has everything you could possibly need.

The builder is really easy to use and they have built in analytics.

6. Keep a Swipe File

The best landing page builders have built a ton of pages but seen 100x as many.

And they likely have a swipe file that’s full of landing pages and funnels that have generated thousands and even millions.

Start keeping a swipe file for yourself! To start…

I use the Chrome extension GoFullPage.

Every time I come across a landing page that I like (or heard that it’s doing well) I’ll take a full page screenshot of it with that tool.

Then I’ll name it by the price and kind of offer it is and send it to my swipe file.

I plan on organizing mine and releasing it on Twitter by the end of the year.

So keep your eyes peeled :)

Let’s move along though… There’s one question I get a lot when it comes to building landing page.

So I’ll answer it in detail…

7. Do I need to be a designer or copywriter?

Yes and no. I started out as a copywriter and truly believe that a landing page should stem from good copy.

But you can easily skip this step by learning the basics about copy or hiring a copywriter.

As for design…

I am not a designer. I’ve never had any design training (if you couldn’t tell from my pages). And that’s okay!

I’ll let you in on a secret… Simple sells these days.

Everyone is trying to stand out by doing something crazy and not as many people are keeping things simple.

8. Make Money from It!

Want to start building landing pages for people?

• find someone that has a product on Gumroad • offer to make them a landing page in Carrd for their product • charge them really cheap (<$100)

9. Learn from my Twitter

There aren’t many great free online resources so the next best thing… my account!

Go to the search bar and type: “{keyword} from:loftedlearning”

And you’ll see every tweet where I used that word. Start by searching up the list I talked about above.

11. Do you have landing page problems?
